Change to Volvo Ocean Race Rules.

vorGDSmall.jpg

This volvo ocean race has specified that each boat shall carry a "Media Crew Member". In future a VOR 70 shall carry:

  • 1 - Qualified Boat Builder
  • 1 - Naval Archetect
  • 2 - Tons of Epoxy Resin
  • 400m2 Carbon fibre matt
  • 2 - Polish Builders
  • 1 - Man to Make the Tea (Ian Walker will do)

Each boats builders crack measurements will be reported to Race HQ at frequent intervals.

In addition to the above crew requiemnets each VOR 70 shall tow a floating dry dock behind it.

In terms of design changes to the boats then 2 keel shall be fitted in future (in case one falls off)

This is where a bad gag about Teleponica Black's huge crack, should appear, but I can find a picture of it, but it its HUGE.

Those of you who havn't been following the money, I mean the Volvo, won't know what I'm talking about.  Its the volvo ocean race that following the money into Northern China in Winter Up wind in a storm. Or was tlll most of them broke. Except a (probalby quite relived)  Team Russia that didn't enter cos they were broke.

Plummeting pound the un-expected irritation.

Bloody foreigers comming over here, using our internet an buying our junk on ebay.

I've been selling stuff on Ebay that i probably couldn't even shift on freecycle.

First some one ask how much to send my dead Zaurus PDA's case to Holland. He didn't buy it a Frenchman did. Well I think it was a man. On the internet its so hard tell.

Now the broken Laptop I was selling has been bought for what I concider to be an exorbiatnat sum of £41 buy a spaniard. Or At least he (or she) lives in Coruna. Even if I do use the cheap courier he susgests it will be awkward and cost him £20.

Who buys a broken laptop, not in good cosmetic condition for £60. Nobody, however for €60 it doesn't sound so bad. Bloody irritiating for me though.

BTW you can now post comments on my website, subject either to registration or to passing intelegence and non russian spam bot testing, See Below.

REMEMBER TOMMOROW a re-run of A Hitch Hikers Guide to the Ocean. Thats 8pm Saturday the 31st.

I've always been a fan of despair.com, and then I saw this old thread on SA (Warning, NSFW). Thouhg I've got lots of photos, and have been helping to destrol the brighton sailing club changing room. Plenty of material. Then I found this site that allows you to make your own (de)motivational posters.......... Wa aha hahah hAAAAAA.

Nearly shot of Virgin

Sigh, Our 2meg Broadband has been incablable of even low quality streaming video for days, god Vrigin are shit, Ive now speant another few hours to find out alittle about NTL's contention rate. Or cable equivalent. Basically how much bandwidth am I fighting for and with how many people?

Its a clearly published number for pretty much all the ISP's in the country.  The useless cretins at NTL aka virgin down say. I've asked them. Not expecting an answer. Wondering jsut how many internetes they string to gether, bearing in mind The best I've made today is 0.8 meg and about 0.2 at present.

0.2. Crap thats bad, I've nto been able to stream any sort of video from Vengee, Iplayer or VOR in days.

Come on Rich I need my new internet......

Virgin are shite.

Round at a mate's poor sods on virgin too. 0.7 meg. Dunno what plan he's on but I bet its suposed to go faster than that,

EDIT: got home, ready to upload its 20 past midnight and I get a quarter of my paid for connection. read this http://www.thinkbroadband.com/speedtest/results/id/12324969659346838696.html
