and reI'm uploading this because I need to warn any poor bastards who have the misery of having to work with the Ticket loosing and job complicating system known as connectwise FAIL.

lets immediately start with some technical proof of crapness - for the lawyers.

Look in C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\connectwise and you will find a file called "ConnectWiseCrashHandler.exe" am I inspiring confidence in the product yet?

For anyone non techy out there appdata/roaming is usually associated with temporary storage and viruses google appdata/roaming .exe and you'll see what I mean. Normally I'd delete any executable in there. Since I link any good sysadmin have blocked the execution of files in silly places it doesn't run.

FYI this is a very good idea for preventing many malware problems and really easy to do see http://www.foolishit.com/vb6-projects/cryptoprevent/).

In Action - yes its FAILED again

Only a virus trying to run with user access should be executed from there. Given that connectwise is just a website running in a fake internet explorer session (you can tell by the dialogues when it crashes) it wouldn't need it at all - if it didn't keep crashing constantly.
